When you become an online student at Methodist University, you’ll have access to a long list of technology benefits and services.

  • Easily submit assignments, interact with classmates, receive updates from your instructor, and more with online learning environments like Canvas

Software and Hardware Requirements

You’ll need access to an internet-connected device, whether it’s your own or if you’re learning on a public access computer. It might work best if you purchase a laptop so that you can study on the go.

Software Requirements

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 2010 or higher. All Methodist University students receive free access to Office.

Some courses may require video conferencing software, such as Skype, along with a camera and microphone.
