What You’ll Learn

In the online BS in Advanced Paramedicine program, you will acquire the following skills:

  • 1. Competence in B.S. in Advanced Paramedicine: The BS in Advanced Paramedicine program will prepare students to demonstrate advanced proficiency in clinical emergency medicine, including additional service areas, that will enable them to succeed in the EMS profession.

Cultural Competence and a Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (JEDI) Mindset: The BS in Advanced Paramedicine program will ensure students demonstrate an understanding and commitment to cultural competence, working with (and learning from) different cultures, and being a patient advocate in an inclusive and meaningful way.
  • 3. Responder Wellness and Self Care: The Advanced Paramedicine program will provide students with a primer for wellness to ensure students integrate self-care principles into clinical practice to reduce psychological and physiological injury.
