What You’ll Learn

In the online BS in Advanced Paramedicine program, you will acquire the following skills:

  • 1. Competence in Advanced Paramedicine: The Advanced Paramedicine Program will prepare students to demonstrate advanced proficiency in clinical emergency medicine, including additional service areas, that will enable them to succeed in the EMS profession.
  • 2. Cultural Competence and a Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (JEDI) Mindset: The Advanced Paramedicine Program will ensure students demonstrate an understanding and commitment to cultural competence, working with (and learning from) different cultures, and being a patient advocate in an inclusive and meaningful way.
  • 3. Responder Wellness and Self Care: The Advanced Paramedicine Program will provide students with a primer for wellness to ensure students integrate self-care principles into clinical practice to reduce psychological and physiological injury.
