Admissions Requirements
To apply for the online business administration degree from Methodist University, you’ll need:
- Completed application.
- Official transcripts (if applicable) and high school transcript or GED transcript.
- Methodist University requires Visual Verification of Identity (VVOI) for all students seeking enrollment in any MU Online program. All applicants must complete the VVOI form and provide requested documents in the myMU portal prior to admission and enrollment. Students may also be asked to participate in a VVOI via an on-camera interview at any point during their enrollment at MU.

The BS in Business Administration is a great fit for students who are starting as freshman or transferring without an Associate’s degree in a technical field. The BAS in Business Administration is designed for students who completed technical courses in any field, business or non-business, while earning an Associate of Applied Science from an accredited community college or university.
The BS in Business Administration consists of 124 total credit hours, including 48 dedicated to major-specific courses. The BAS requires 62 credit hours and 45 are major-specific courses. Only students who have previously completed an Associate’s degree of Applied Science (A.A.S.) are eligible to apply to the B.A.S. program. Students may transfer hours into either program as appropriate.
