Transcripts must be evaluated and translated into English before an admissions decision can be made. The applicant is responsible for the timely translation and evaluation of documents and for all costs and fees associated with these services. Suggested evaluation services are World Education Services, Inc. or Josef Silny & Associates, Inc.
Transfer Credits
You can transfer up to nine credits toward your degree. Methodist University generally accepts credits for courses completed with a grade of C or higher from other regionally accredited institutions of higher education.
To find out whether or not you are eligible, you can request more information or call us at 855-474-8222.
Start Terms and Cohort Requirements
Graduate programs offer two start terms each year: Fall and Spring. Our graduate programs follow a cohort model, allowing students to progress through their program alongside a community of peers.
A minimum of 10 students is required to begin a new cohort each semester. If a cohort does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement, the cohort start will be deferred to the following semester.
Accepted students affected by a cohort deferment do not need to reapply. Your application and acceptance will remain on file, and you will be automatically eligible to register for the next available start term.
We are committed to keeping students informed about cohort enrollment and supporting a smooth transition to the next available start date.
When to Apply
Apply now or call us at 855-474-8222 to make sure you’re enrolled for your intended start date. There are three start dates per year, and applications are due approximately three weeks before each term. When you apply, you’ll hear back in about one to two weeks.
